My name is Aric Weeks, I live in Houston, Tx and I attend St. Thomas HS. I am a really good student and I have been playing competitive soccer since I was five years old. I learned how to play soccer from my family and the coaches at Rochester Soccer Club in Rochester, Michigan. My RSC teammates and I won many trophies and we had a lot of fun. After my family moved to Texas, I was a featured goal scorer and a primary set up player on my freshman HS and club teams. I play attacking mid, right-wing and striker. I’m described as being crafty on the ball, having really good field vision and I bring a lot of speed and toughness to my position.
I was the starting striker, scored goals and made a lot of positive contributions in the handful of games I played at the beginning of my 10th grade/JV season before having a season ending event. That experience was pretty bad but I try to see it as a blessing. I had to rebuild myself and my game and that taught me a lot. After a year of total dedication and hard work, I achieved my goals to return to the pitch and contribute to team success. I am now building up meaningful minutes, scoring goals and making an impact on my HS and Dynamo club teams.
I enjoy helping people and I regularly volunteer and serve my community. My longer term goals are to attend and graduate from university, study medicine and, I want to play college soccer.
