I grew up playing basketball, baseball, soccer, and futsal. Early on I believed my true love was basketball over soccer. When I entered my high school in San Antonio (TAPPS - at the time) I was told I could not play multiple sports and had to choose one. I did not realize how hard it would be to choose just one. Assuming it would be basketball, I was wrong. I met the soccer coach and knew I would not have this opportunity anywhere else because of his reputation and knew then that soccer had chosen me. I miss playing other sports but have never regretted the choice I made. I transferred my Jr year to a 6A school and found a whole new level of competitiveness. I have learned to push myself harder than I have and have learned so many things about myself in this process. I have been very fortunate to have great coaches and mentors in my life that have encouraged and given me opportunities that have helped me grow in multiple positions on the field. My goal is to now search for the coach and program that I can share my skills and grow to my fullest potential. I truly feel I have so much more to give and would love to continue playing while continuing my education. I will keep playing as long as the game allows me to.
