Kirby Winfield '25 Recruiting Profile

I love soccer. My goal is to play at a high level in college and help my team win championships. I am a right footed CB/OB with a well developed left foot who scores in the air on set pieces.

I have played center back for the Washington State club League 1 winning team each of the past two years and we are top of table as of Nov. 2023. We have won Surf Cup and Crossfire Challenge.

As a freshman, I scored the winning goal to lead my high school varsity team to the state quarterfinals over the #1 seed. As a sophomore, I co-led my team in goals en route to another state quarterfinals.

Beyond being an asset on the pitch, I will bring a lot to the table for any university I attend. I am an active volunteer for Special Olympics, and I coach Top Soccer, helping kids with intellectual disabilities learn and enjoy the beautiful game.

My sister, Kate, is 14 and has Down syndrome. She has taught me to always try to include others, and help people who might be struggling in life to have a better time. This makes me a valuable teammate and a good community member.
