I am an effective low key leader both on and off the field, meaning I believe that my actions speak louder than hype. I am focused on making myself an essential part of the team by being what the team needs no matter what the formation or the current players on the field. My goals revolve around being competitive and playing with a high level group of guys that not only want to win but are loyal to the 11 on the field. I currently play center back and comfortable with right outside back as well having played in both positions at the highest levels of ECNL on a national stage like Surf Cup, ECNL nationals, and with competitive European experiences in the Netherlands as well. I want to be an asset wherever I go and am looking for a coach that believes in me as much or more than I believe in the program.
How am I different than most of the recruits? I have a variety of interests outside of soccer that continues to challenge me intellectually i.e. computer science, cyber engineering, music, and cross country and I feel strongly that these collateral interests continue to help me grow even on the pitch. I currently have a 4.0 unweighted GPA and work hard on my sport to feel more comfortable on either foot and also to be a threat striking from distance or heading the ball on set pieces. Thank you for the consideration.
