Liam West '26 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I'm Liam West and my goal from a young age is to play at a collegiate or professional soccer level.  I have been actively playing since I was 4 years old and my passion has only grown stronger.  My collegiate goals are to play at the highest competitive level possible and hopefully improve my skill set through great coaching and playing alongside other great soccer players.  I feel I am very dedicated to any team I have the opportunity to play on and I am a leader that has a positive mindset, as well as being a coachable player.  I am also very flexible and willing to help the team in any way possible.  We lived in Moscow, Russia for 1 year and Istanbul, Turkey for 2 years so I have had the opportunity to play in Europe for 3 years.  I was able to play with other soccer players from those countries in where I had to adapt to language barriers and the high competitive play.  Through this I had to be able to see the game much faster because I wasn't able to verbally communicate at times with my coach and teammates.  I currently hold a 3.7 GPA at my high school and I have been taking IB classes this school year.  I was inducted into the National Honor Society and the named a Scholar Athlete.  I was All State and captain as a junior on my HS team and I have contributed 14 goals and 5 assists on my highly competitive club team last season.
