I am a left-handed, 6'4" junior at Notre Dame Academy in Green Bay, WI. I also play AAU for Team 1848, 16-U, National Team. Prep Hoops- Wisconsin has ranked me #80 and the #16 Power Forward in the Class of 2023 in Wisconsin. While I know that there are thousands of kids hoping to play college basketball, I believe I am an excellent candidate for a college team. It is my goal to play college sports.
I am a real team player, who prefers to play strong defense and to assist my guards, but I can also score. In October 2020, PrepHoops wrote about me, "Wall-Atim was my favorite prospect from the weekend. With a stash of the best physical attributes- good height, threatening wingspan [My wingspan is 6'11"]...His awareness and coordination put everything together...On defense, he's a gamer. He locked up some of the better prospects...and he has great hands."
Off the court, I am a good student with a 3.1 GPA, take some honors classes, and also play football and run track. Personally, I also know what it means to overcome challenges and the importance of hard-work. When I was in kindergarten, my father was killed in action while serving in the US Army in Afghanistan as a foreign national (my dad was from Uganda, East Africa and my mom is American). His death taught me how precious life is and how I need to live each day to the fullest and always work to be my best. I bring that attitude to the basketball court. My dad's death has also provided my college tuition, so I am not in need of an athletic scholarship to play in or to attend college.
While I continue to work to improve as a basketball player and student, I hope that you will consider me for your team.
