My name is Eston Eberlein. I will be a senior this coming fall and I will graduate in the Spring of 2024. Following high school, I would like to attend a college that has both an excellent business and soccer program. I feel that I would be an exceptional candidate for any program as I have strong academic and athletic credentials.
Although I have been homeschooled for my entire academic career, I have taken college-level classes for dual enrollment credit since I was a freshman. I have maintained a 4.0 GPA in over thirty college credits and, as such, I am well-prepared to handle the rigors of athletics and academics.
I have played soccer since I was three and it has been a prevalent aspect of each facet of my life since that young age. I have played at the youth competitive club level, four years of varsity high school soccer, and on a semi-pro team, LC Aris FC, an NPSL team in the North Conference in the Midwest Region. This has been a phenomenal, transformative experience. As a seventeen year-old high school student, I played with professional, DI-DIII and NAIA level players. I have played right and left back, right and left wing, CDM and striker for this team and my speed of play, touch and movement off the ball, as well as my tactical skills have improved greatly. I earned 2 starts and over 265 minutes by the end of the season, enjoyed the camaraderie of players from around the world, was challenged and rose to the occasion. I have even been invited back for next season already.
In addition to playing soccer, I am a WIAA and NSSF-certified referee and a Grassroots Level-certified coach. I have been a volunteer for many years for TopSoccer which facilitates soccer camps for those with special needs. Finally, I started my own soccer tennis business to help teams build better teamwork, and improve their touch and speed of play.
Soccer truly does permeate all aspects of my life. I believe that this sets me apart as a great candidate for any team. I love this sport and I have the intelligence, tenacity, ability to be coached and the desire to win. I play hard to the end, even when we’re down and I am looking forward to continuing playing this great sport throughout college.
I am #15, a 5’9,165 lb, left-footed soccer player.
Come and watch me play, watch my videos, and contact my coaches. I believe that I would be an excellent addition to your program and would very much welcome your feedback.
Thank you for your consideration!
