Scott Taylor '13 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5 feet, 9 inch,154 pound Senior from Arab, Alabama. Being an IM swimmer, I enjoy swimming all four strokes. I feel that this could benefit any team with which I would be associated, because I could fill in any position needed. I have been swimming competitively for twelve years. I have qualified for Southeastern LSC short and long course every year since I was seven years old. I have achieved SES titles in Hall of Fame, SES Top Ten Times, and finalist in Age Group Zones. I have also qualified and swam in the 2012 spring and summer Eastern Sectionals of the Southern Zone. I have been swimming varsity for my high school since seventh grade. I swam in finals at Alabama High School State meet every year. I have also been a gold medalist fifteen times at Alabama Recreation and Park Association State meets in the last ten years. My desire is to swim for a D1 school in the Southeast, but I would consider a D2 or a highly academic D3 school. Although undecided on my college major, I am leaning toward pre-dent. I have always felt it would be wonderful to compete on the collegiate level, and experience the camraderie of like-minded team mates.
