I am Aiden Barrett and I started swimming when I was just a few years old. I started in water polo and gravitated to club swimming and now am a varsity high school swimmer. I aspire to swim for the rest of my life and would love to swim competitively for my university.
I started out as a water polo player and transitioned to swimming. I was also an LA County Junior Lifeguard for three years and a Taplin competitor for my beach. All of these skills have helped train me to be a competitive swimmer. I swim competitively for my high school and club and have come far in just the last season. I work hard, I am positive and leader on my team. My coaches will also tell you that I strive to help other swimmers.
I am enjoying the live high school experience and working on planning, time management and grade improvement. I strive to be the student every teacher wants in their classroom. I participate, am respectful and attentive, and I give 100%.
My private elementary school had the core values of love, respect, and responsibility. I carry those values with in high school and hope to carry them into college. I want to attend a college where I can grow in the classroom and in the pool. I want to be a part of a college community and team, and am willing to put in the hard work required.
