My goals and aspirations in pursuing higher education are driven by a deep passion for both swimming and academics. I hope to excel as a student-athlete at the collegiate level, balancing my commitment to community with a dedication to my studies.

Currently, I proudly represent Alpharetta High School as a varsity swimmer. I earned my spot on the varsity team during my Freshman and Sophomore years, and now, I'm entering my Junior year with determination. I've consistently pushed myself to improve and set new personal records. My willingness to work tirelessly to close the skills gap with athletes who initiated their swimming journeys at a younger age compared to my own start at the age of 11, underscores my devotion to the sport. I have a relentless drive to compete and contribute to the success of the team. In my main events, the 100FL and 100FR, I've consistently demonstrated progress, and I continue to make improvements. 

I would bring to the team a strong work ethic + leadership skills and I am coachable + have a positive attitude. I'm also a team player who's always there to support my teammates. We're all doing our best to navigate this sport and I've learned that an encouraging word can go such a long way. There's also my resilience, as demonstrated by overcoming an early-season appendectomy Sophomore year, showcased my mental fortitude, which is invaluable in the competitive world of collegiate athletics. Everyone counted me out for the season, however, I not only persevered and set personal records but also qualified for my school's State team in the 200IM Relay and was even awarded the 2022-2023 Most Improved Athlete by my Head Coach!

My commitment to academics is also a vital part of who I am. I currently maintain a GPA of 3.0 and my goal for this year is to raise my GPA even higher. I am constantly working to take my studies seriously as I do believe in the importance of being a true student-athlete, excelling in both the classroom and the pool.

Beyond the pool, I enjoy playing other sports like football and basketball, love spending time with family & friends, and have had the privilege of experiencing diverse cultures through travel, thanks to my dad's career as a musician.

My combination of character, athletic determination, and commitment to academics makes me a well-rounded candidate for your team. I am driven to succeed both in and out of the pool, and I believe that my being can align with the values and expectations of a competitive collegiate program.
