Eli Sowder '27 Recruiting Profile

     My name is Eli Sowder and I’ve been swimming competitively since I was 7 years old. I have swam on summer swim teams and was on the junior high swim team as well. As a high school swimmer now, I am determined to keep working hard in the pool to drop times and be a leader on the team.  I feel that my strong work ethic in academics and in swimming set me apart!  I have high expectations for myself in the classroom and in the pool and have the drive and determination to meet my goals.  I am an honor roll student and participate in our school’s high honors classes.  During summer swim, I work extra  hours in the pool with the coach to improve my times. I also volunteer to help the younger kids on our swim team during their practice.  When I graduate high school I strive to study mechanical engineering, and swim at the college level while I’m there.
