Hi Coach,
I would be a great candidate for your program because I am a hard worker in and out of the water and constantly looking for ways to improve myself. In 2019 I competed at the 2019 World School Championship meet in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil representing the USA, attended the Leadership Summit at The Olympic Training Center in Colorado representing the State of Maine, and became a member of the Elite Athlete Committee for Maine Swimming. I am honored to be chosen for these great opportunities to represent my country, my state and my team in 2019. I truly enjoy swimming and pushing myself and my teammates to be better in and out of the pool. In 2018 I won the Harold Paulson Award for best all around swimmer on my team and in 2019 I won the Super Seal Award for hardest worker in the pool.
My goal is to attend the best possible school for my academic career and swimming. I would like to pursue a career in aviation and become an airline pilot like my Father. I believe my many years of hard work and dedication to swimming will help my aviation career. I am constantly working on technique, attending eight practices a week, and I'm never afraid to fail in the pool. I know I must push myself in the pool in order to get better and I race the same way. I know with flying I will need to practice continuously to get better and never be afraid to make mistakes while learning.
I look forward to hearing from you and would be happy to answer any questions you many have.
