My brother pushing me to swim in my 7th-grade year was the best thing that has happened to me. I have learned so much from victories and defeats. I have become captain of a swim team and I try to be an example to the people who are coming up to replace me and I do that by being respectful, working hard and the best leader I can possibly be. Being captain has also told me to care about people as much as you care about your self and that you can work on your goals together for quicker success. At first, I hated swimming but after awhile I realized success is much better with all the work you have to put into it whether that is taking first at the Minnesota state or making a meal.
I want to be apart of a team the can challenge me athletically and mentally. I feel that I would be a great addition to a team because I'm inspired worker, a good leader, I have a lot of room to get faster.
