Personal Statement
Ever since I was little I have always aspired to swim in college and swim at a higher level. Having me on your swim team will pay off, I always give 120% at every single practice, I am a very supportive teammate and I believe i am a coachable swimmer/athlete. Ever Since I watched my first Olympics and Olympic trials, It has been my dream to get at least to the trials. This sport has been by my side since day one i learned how to swim when I was 2, swam on a summer league team at the age of 4 and stuck with it ever since and I have Never regretted anything I’ve done in this sport. I always strive to be better I accept failure and I am willing to do the things to make me a better swimmer/teammate/person. Every one says d1 or nothing, honestly i just want a coach and team to want me to be on their team no matter the division I just wanna continue to do the sport I love. What makes me different from other swimmers is that you will never ever see me negative once I hit that pool deck I am always high fives fist bumps and supportive. Because my coach always says if you go into practice negative then you aren’t getting the most out of the set. Another thing that makes me different is that I will never complain on what I am swimming or what I am not, I believe that there’s a reason for me swimming or not swimming that specific thing it’s a opportunity to better your times in that race.
