Orestes Cooper '19 Recruiting Profile

I am a student and an athlete these two things are extremely important to me so I give it my all. I plan to continue on this path on my way to, and when I enter college. I would make an excellent addition to your team, because I am a very coachable self-motivated individual and a supportive teammate. I always push myself and others to get better. When I enter college I plan to pursue a sports Science degree and eventually a law degree so I could do Sports Law. My goal as an athlete is to continue to get better and swim in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and one day win a gold medal. I am very active in the community and I value helping others. I also enjoy learning from others and taking on new challenges. I lettered my freshman year in high school and went to state as an alternate. This year I plan on making it to state in the 100 breast and 200 IM. I have maintained a GPA above 3.5 and above since middle school while swimming full time, singing in choirs and keeping a part time job. I am an individual who knows the importance of family. I plan on becoming successful  and giving back to the community,   while being an inspiration to everyone, regardless of whom or what you are or where you came from with hard work and dedication you can make it in this world.
