Being a junior in high school now, I have a lot to think about in terms of my future education. In College, I hope to accomplish two important things. The first is to utilize the resources offered to me at college to gain much needed knowledge and skills to succeed later on in life as an employee, or possibly an employer, of a company. The second is to use my skills in swimming to ease my experience at college, physically, mentally, and hopefully financially. My ultimate goal in college is to not only enjoy the experience, but relish in the opportunities presented in front of me regarding both academics and athletics.
Personally I have a lot to bring to the table at college. My grades are stellar, and my success in school is something I am very proud of. In the pool, i am just as productive. My times in both backstroke and freestyle are quite fast, and I strive every day to increase my strength and endurance in order to become faster and faster.
If there is one thing one can take away from this, it is that I am able to succeed significantly in two very important aspects of my life, and that my perseverance in both should prove how willing I am to succeed in college.
