Ryan Lawson '18 Recruiting Profile

I come from a swim team that has not only pushed me to my limits in the pool, but have allowed me to be a good teammate. As a distance swimmer, I swim countless yards each day and push myself to hold steady paces, and am looking for a school that will provide me with the proper distance training that I need to succeed for my future collegiate team. I believe that I would be a good candidate for teams because I am the kind of swimmer who gets in the pool each day trying to make each practice better than the last. I am someone who looks up tp my coaches and trusts them and respects their wishes. As a teammate, I am always on the side of the pool cheering for my teammates because we all put in the same work each day and all have the same goals and ambitions. I know that for no matter which college I end up attending that I will work harder each day than the last and will push my teammates both in and out of the pool. Academically I know that while studying something I truly care about and am interested in I will work my hardest to maintain good grades for both myself and for the team.
