Being pulled up from eighth grade to play as the starting catcher on the high school JV baseball team has taught me a lot about leadership. We might not have won every single game but that experience led me to become a solid catcher and made me be able to play at a higher level. I was thankful for the opportunity be able to play at that level and I hope to play at even higher levels.
I started playing baseball when I was 5 years old. I fell in love with the game as soon as I started playing. My dad has coach me for several years. His dedication to me and my fellow teammates taught me about commitment, teamwork and to follow through even when it gets tough. Playing for the high school team taught me that grades are more important than anything. I believe I not only have the talent to play at higher levels, but I also have the leadership skills and personality. I am looking forward to playing more baseball as time goes on and I Know what it takes to be on a team.
