I have a couple of goals, my first one is to get a scholarship to go swim for a college that not only cares about me being an athlete but also as a person and in the classroom. For me to swim at the college level would be a life long goal because I've been swimming for basically all my life. My mom had me in swim lessons when i was very young and I went with all the way until I was in middle school. Sometimes in life people hit a wall and feel or don't want to keep going and I feel like I had one of those moments during that time. I also had a lot of personal things going on in my life around that time so i decided to step away from swimming because I kinda lost the love for the sport. When high school came around I had family and friends telling me and asking me to go swim in high school and i put a lot of thought into it so I started training again and I immediately fell in love again. Sure enough I tried out and made the team and everything else has been history since. I believe that i'm a good candidate because I try to be a leader at times when I'am supposed to. I would say what makes me different is that i'm open to listen and try many things and learn from others. I guess you can call me an open book because I wouldn't mind telling someone about all I went through in case someone is going through the same thing they could learn from me. When my coaches are trying to help me on something and I may not get it right away I will not stop until I have crafted what I need and that go's with life as well. In class sometimes I struggle because I may not get the information right away so I just go to my teachers and ask for help and sometimes I would spend 1 to 2 hours after school getting the information I may need. I think that's what makes me different from others.
