While growing up the sport that I consistently played was football. After a concussion, a broken ankle, and pressure from my parents to pursue a different sport I decided to try swimming on my neighborhood swim team during the summer. After continuing to progress in swimming on my neighborhood swim team, I began to do year around swimming and loved every minute of it. I am persistent, motivated, a self starter, and I push hard everyday to be better at whatever I pursue. Outside of swimming, I work hard to make good grades. Currently I have a 4.3 GPA and continue to work hard to maintain this while swimming after school everyday. Currently I swim on a year around swim team, my high school swim team (during the winter), my neighborhood swim team (during the summer), and I also coach for the younger kids on my neighborhood swim team (during the summer).
After swimming for four years, swimming has become a passion of mine. I not only love to swim, but I strive everyday to get better. My goal is to swim in college while pursuing an undergraduate degree in pre-med biology. I want to continue my eduction and go to medical school to pursue a career in the medical field.
