2024 HighlightsPersonal Statement
I am currently a Junior in high school but have been swimming since I was two years old. Throughout my years of swimming I have been able to maintain a perfect balance between my academics and the sport. Due to my years is swimming I have developed a perseverant personality that allows me to succeed in any aspect of life that I put effort into especially when it comes to school. Ever since I was young, my goal in life was to study mechanical engineering in college. I also knew that from a young age to be able to join this field of study I would need to excel in school and swimming. This caused me to challenge myself in life even if it meant taking harder classes or training extra hard in practice.
