My name is Lucas Rhodes and one of my goals is to become a high school state champion in swimming. Another one of my goals is to make it to college on a swimming scholarship. I would like to attend a small division 1 school like the size of Gardner Webb or a competitive division II, division III, or NAIA school.. It would one day be my dream to make it to the Olympics. I finished 4th in the state in the 500 free my freshman year and 3rd in the state my sophomore year. I am working hard to get my 500 free time under 4:40 and win the state championship this year. I should have a legitimate shot in the 200 free as well. I would like to attend a school that has a family atmosphere and and a great atmosphere for learning. The guys I swim with are my best friends and that team atmosphere is very important to me. I would like to work with a coach that is interested in helping me further my skills and help me to become the best swimmer that I can be. I will just be turning 18 when I enter college and I still have a lot of room for growth. Swimming in a national championship at the college level is one of my college goals and I am interested in attending a college that can help me achieve this goal. I would like to swim at a place where I could make a positive impact on the program and become a leader,
