Personal Statement

I've been club swimming since the age of 11 and swimming is my passion. Currently I club swim with the Wilson Barracudas, and swim for Hunt High School in Wilson, NC. I enjoy swimming individually, but really enjoy swimming with the high school team and being a team player. Being a team leader with both teams, I enjoy encouraging other teammates. Current practice times are 5-6 days a week, 2 hours a day on average. Academically I strive to be an A-B student, and am enrolled in Honors courses. Swimming at the college level and beyond is my goal, and I know hard work and determination will get me there.
