Personal Statement

One personality trait that has helped me to stay focused and excel, both academically and athletically, is my ability to stay calm. Because of this, when in group situations, I emerge as a leader helping everyone on track and do their best by focusing getting into a good headspace. Swimming laps or racing in the pool is therapeutic and helps me to prioritize my life inside or out of the water, so that my mind is always in the zone, full of strategy and technique and in a happy place for what I need to get done.

Ohio JO Qualifier in 200 FR, 100 BK, 100FL, 200 FL, 200 IM, 400 IM and multiple relays. Because of COVID, championship meets were cancelled. The Ohio State University discontinued this program during the pandemic.
