Mateusz Powalowski '24 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to get a scholarship to a university in the United States, where I would continue training to reach my greatest potential as a swimmer. I am interested in health sciences and when I graduate am hoping to become a Doctor of Physical Therapy. I am a great candidate for a swim team because I am a hardworking, dedicated and responsible person. Additionally, I always try my best even when faced with many challenges. One of my greatest strengths is closing out a race, when it is the end of a difficult race I always try to push myself to get ahead of the swimmers in front of me. That drive is what makes me different from other swimmers. I am also extremely organized and have good time management skills. For me, hard work pays off, so I want to continue working as hard as I can so that I can achieve my goals.
