Personal Statement
Swimming is the best thing that has happened in my life. It has taught me how to be a disciplined person both in and out of the pool, it’s shown me how to work as hard as possible without seeing any results, and it has taught me how to be a leader to my teammates. I love to swim and it’s my passion. I am more than willing to work harder than everyone to earn a spot on a university team. My work ethic is unparalleled and I know I can contribute to a university team. It has always been a dream to be the first Division 1 swimmer from my city.
