I am in my last semester of my senior year at Flower Mound High School and am finalizing my search for a college that is a great fit academically and athletically. I am looking for a college with a competitive swim program that has a great team culture and offers me the opportunity to continue swimming competitively while improving my performance. I started my swimming career at the age of five swimming for a neighborhood summer team where I discovered my passion for swimming. I currently swim on the high school varsity team and also with Lakeside Aquatic Club on the national team. I have raised my leadership skills as a result of my experience as captain of my high school team. Our team had a very successful season and I competed at the State finals in my 100 Fly (9th place) and as part of the Medley relay team (also 9th place). I recently got my NCAA II "B" cut in the 200 Fly (1:51.56) which is also a hard cut for the WInter Jr. Nationals. Academically, I am planning to study kinesiology and business to prepare myself for starting a business teaching martial arts and fitness. I believe I am a unique swimmer; I have an incredible work ethic and am committed to improve no matter what. I have never gone a season where I haven't dropped time; I have never reached a plateau and don't plan on it. I appreciate your consideration and look forward to communicating with you about the opportunity to swim with your team.
