Cole Bishop '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi Coaches, 

I am grateful for your time and consideration. 

My swimming journey centers around pushing myself to overcome limitations and be the best the person I can be. 

Prior to high-school, I swam consistently but not competitively. I was a sophomore walk-on at Carroll High School in Southlake, Texas. 

Coach Murphy suggested I join his 2022 summer swimming club to further develop my skills. After an intense summer, Coach Murphy invited me to join the Varsity swim as a junior.  In my junior year, set personal best times and helped my teammates get to semi-finals of Texas State Championship.

I value the privilage of swimming on the Varsity Team,  work hard on developing my skills, being a good teammate and pride myself on having good relationships with my coaches. 

My swimming experience has taught me that hard work, discipline and applying my coaches advice is what it takes to grow as a person. I, myself, am personally challenged with scoliosis and auditory processing disorder, but I don't let these things hold me back. 

My collegiate goals are to compete as a university swimmer, continue to learn from my coaches, and pursue a career as a lawyer.
