I aspire to obtain a degree in Criminal Justice because I desire to positively impact the community and assist those in need. These times may have deterred many in pursuing law enforcement but I am driven and determined to positively impact and support the community so we all can come together.
I aspire to support the school through my training ethics and pursuit to be a leader and role model. Since I only started competing 4 years ago, my personal goals are to swim sub 50 seconds in the 100 fly and sub 21.00 sec in the 50 free. As a freshman, my 100 fly time was 1:31.60 and had no recordEd time in the 50 free. As a Senior, I recently placed 2nd at districts and 6th at State. My year end highschool personal best time was 51.76 100 fly . In the 50 free, I placed 2nd at districts with a 22.02 qualified for State placing 15th. I have the drive and desire to push myself to any limit to achieve team and individual goals.
What makes me different from others is that I have yet to reach my full potential. I believe I have so much more to give and it’s finding that right fit which will allow me to grow as an individual and as a teammate. My personal goals do not seem unreachable nor unrealistic. I thrive on motivation and hard-work and understand that nothing in life is given to you. I am an up beat, positive, and a driven individual who owns up to my mistakes and takes feedback when given.
Call it the pandemic or just maturity but I do now understand the balance between school, sports and family.
Finally, My goal and expectation is to represent a school at it’s highest standard via academics and through the sport of swimming .
