For as long as I remember, I have loved being in the water! I would love to swim at the college level and have been working hard to improve my technique and speed for the past 4 years. My coaches will tell you I am hard working, never miss practice and am eager to learn. My swimming goal in my freshman year was to go to State. I met my goal having competed in two individual events.
Living on an island in the Puget Sound without a local club or high school team, I commute 6 days a week leaving school early to train with another high school on the main land. On island, I am active in the open water swim community and have been a part of a successful team of volunteers that recently helped pass a local bond to build a community pool on south Whidbey Island. I am an active leader in the pool and out and will be a great addition to your team.
