I began my swimming career when I was ten years old. Ever since I began, I have been striving to achieve goals that I have set for myself. I set challenging goals both in an out of the pool, and I hold myself to intense standards. In the pool, I work exceptionally hard to improve both my speed and technique. I practice three hours per day for seven days a week. I am always early to practice and ready to work hard. I specialize in the 200 breaststroke and the 400 IM. I often lead my lane in practice and am an avid team leader, not only in my group, but for the younger swimmers as well.
Outside of the pool I am often found volunteering in my community. I time at swim meets, volunteer at my church, and make meals for the sick and homeless. I am a proud member of the National Honors Society at my school and throughout my community. In the classroom, I strive for the best grades possible. I carry a 4.0 unweighted GPA with a load of honors and AP courses.
