NATHAN BURD '17 Recruiting Profile

I have been swimming my entire life just like most swimmers at my level. It has become a part of who i am and who i want to be. I believe i need swimming i order to better myself not only physically but academically as well. I would be lost without swimming and that is what brings me back everyday to the pool. I have gotten to the point to where i depend on swimming as an outlet for any problems i may. i can simply just swim them out. From another perspective my major swim goal is to be a member of the US Olympic Team in the future years.  Goals for this next season would include: Going a 20.5 in the 50 free and a 46.2 in the 100 free. i believe my work ethic and positive attitude will lead me to achieve these goals in my senior year. What separates me from other candidates is the fact that no matter what i will go in with a positive attitude and strive to better the team as well as myself. I am an excellent leader and enjoy watching my teammates improve.
