James Ignatius '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is James Ignatius. I am currently a senior at Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks. I am the Varsity Team Captain for the tennis team, and I have been since my sophomore year. My goals for my tennis career is to play college tennis at a high level and come to practice and compete everyday. During 10 and under is was ranked top 5 in sectionals in singles and doubles for the opens divisions. Under 12 I was top 25 in singles division and top 10 in doubles for sectionals opens divisions. Under 14 I was top 50 in singles opens division and top 25 in doubles opens divisions. Under 16 I was top 75 in singles opens division and top 40 in doubles opens division. I am a good candidate for any college team because I come to practice everyday in a positive attitude and strive to get better everyday. I feel like I am different from other recruits because I am a extremely high competitor and a natural born leader that wants to see his teammates succeed.
