Steven Mayborg '13 Recruiting Profile

I am about 150 pounds, stand 6'1, and I'm very fast and agile. As a team my high school has won our region 3 years running. My partner and I have placed second and won the doubles portion of the tournament over the past two years. I love playing sports in general and I'm very hard working when it comes to practicing and conditioning. I can offer motivation, commitment, and spirit to any team I play on. In a school I am looking for the kind of education that is going to truly benefit me once I leave the college world. I am also looking for a great atmosphere where I know I am going to have a good time. The sports programs are big to me also, since I've grown up watching the Kentucky Wildcats play, I would like to have a successful team to cheer for. My desired major is somewhere in engineering or possibly pre-med. A goal I have as an athelete is to start varsity as a freshman and make an make it to the number one spot as soon as possible and win a championship.
