Sawyer Dina '12 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'9" junior first singles tennis player from Orchard Park, NY. I have been playing tennis since I was four years old starting at a local summer club named Eagle Ridge. Eagle Ridge is where I found my passion for playing tennis and became an exceptionally good player. As I grew older I have been playing a lot more, such as doing tennis camps, playing USTA junior team tennis, competing in USTA junior tournaments and constantly practicing at local tennis complexes. Throughout playing USTA junior team tennis I have placed 7th in Nationals and have won regionals, sectionals and states several times. Last year as a sophomore at Orchard Park High School I played doubles and won ECICs, placed third in sectionals, and reached the quarterfinals in the consolation at states in Flushing Meadows. Over the next two years of high school I intend on expanding on my excellence in tennis and hopefully achieve my goal of playing tennis in college. I would love to go to a college with great academics near a big city in the eastern region. In addition, I am open to playing tennis for all divisions and I am looking for a sports minded city to help accelerate my goal in a career of sports management.
