My name is Danh Nguyen, I am a senior at Tualatin High School and currently trying to find colleges that will be able to grant me scholarships to pay for my tuition. My background is, I was born in Vietnam in 1997 and came to the U.S in 2008 when I was eleven years old. My GPA is currently 3.875, and I’m planning to do a lot of community service this coming up year. This pass summer, I help volunteer at Tigard Public Library 2 days a week and it was an awesome experience because I got to know a lot more about books. I’m also a tennis player and started playing 4 years ago and this summer I was able to capture 2 junior challenger tournaments and made it to the second round of a champs tournament. I also played on varsity at my school since freshman year, and I made to state with my partner Tyler Snyder this past junior year. Bringing me to your campus will only ensure greatness because I strive to success by this one phrase and it’s “If you are not one, you are last”. And even if I don’t succeed, I know I will also walk away giving the best effort I could.
