My goals are to play tennis at the collegiate level and contribute to a team's success. I also wish to be in an academic environment that challenges me every day. I am not set on one specific position as a goal; I simply want to help a college team succeed. Something that makes me stand out as a player is my versatility on and off the court. In school, I am an AP student while in tennis I am versatile as well. During my 2020-2021 freshman season, I was a key role player on Ramapo High School's tennis team. I played multiple matches in second singles, third singles, first doubles, and second doubles. These different match assignments proved that I can adapt to any match under any circumstance. This Ramapo team went on to make it to the sectional finals, where my doubles partner, Andrew Sullivan, and I won our match against Demarest's First Team All Group 2 doubles team. Although I can be a key role player as seen at Ramapo, I can also be a leader of a team. During the 2021-2022 season after I moved to Puerto Rico, I led the TASIS Dorado Bears as the first singles position to the semifinals of the playoffs. I did this while only losing once all season. These two examples show how if needed I can step up as a leader, but it also shows that I can be a key role player. Even though people often think of tennis as an individual sport, I value team comradery above all.
