Personal Statement
I have been playing tennis since I was 4 years old and competing in USTA tournaments since I was 8 years old. I believe that I can offer a team leadership because I am captain of my high school varsity tennis team my Sophomore year 2021, now my Junior year 2022, and will be in my senior year 2023. I consider myself to be a scholar-athlete who has learned the importance of setting priorities academic and tennis sports, able to stay focused on my personal goals and ambitions. I always seek to challenge myself able to maintained a 4.90+ GPA over my years in high school while taking the most challenging Honors courses.
Tennis Training: I have been training at ASC Tennis Academy, Atlanta with prime junior tennis players all over the United States. I have been working hard to improve my tennis with my special college coach Mr. Sasha Gozun. I love tennis and I am playing tournaments on weekends. Tennis has been a passion of mine since I was a little, and since then, I have won some tournaments from the past 8 years with holding 70-80 trophies in my hands.
School: I am full time in-person student at J.L Mann High School in Greenville, SC. I have a 5.0 GPA and I am an Honor Roll student.
College: I am looking for good college that fits me. I am looking to play competitive tennis and also continue with my college education there. I am looking to major in either Business, Medicine, or Law. School has always been my number one priority, but that does not mean I will not compete on the tennis court and give my 100% everyday. My goals as a student-athlete to become a great teammate for my college team and one day become an All-American tennis player.
