I started running track in 8th grade, and Cross Country my freshman year of high school. I had always been interested in continuing running recreationally after high school, and always dreamed of continuing my running career at a college
I am able to run a variety of events, from longer sprints to long distance. I always try to be able to help my team and run whatever events my coaches need me to run, from the 4x4 to the 5k in Cross Country. My versatility is my best asset.
Academically, I maintain a solid GPA, while taking a rigorous class schedule. I have volunteered at hospitals and an orphanage in Peru. I recently completed a 150 hour internship at a local hospital.
I would like to attend a school where I can grow as a runner while simultaneously helping the team win. I also want to be able to continue pursuing my academic dreams.
