My name is Josh Griffin and I am a passionate runner, an engaged student, and a growing leader. I have been running competitively since the fourth grade and have been rewarded for my hard work during my high school years with being a three-time league champion in cross country or track events, the rookie of the year or team MVP each season at Nevada Union High School, and have medaled in nearly every cross country race I have run in. In the classroom, I am an engaged student with a G.P.A. of nearly 3.8, take A.P. and honors level classes, and have enjoyed the creative outlets my electives brought. Finally, I am a growing leader. I am the founder and president of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) club at Nevada Union, was voted captain of the Cross Country team by my peers, and am a student leader at Sierra Presbyterian Church where my dad is the pastor. I am described as hard working, resilient, and teachable as a runner, student, and leader and would be an asset to your school, student body, and Cross Country and Track and Field teams.
