Track and field have been my favorite sport since I was a little kid.  I always race my friends and rarely lose. Ever since my sister joined track in high school, I was amazed at how running can be so intense. She did hurdles and I wanted to try it out. In middle school, I couldn't join the running team because my parents told me to wait until high school. So in P.E, I practiced my speed endurance in the school track. Until I joined Tustin High School's Track team. I was one of the top sprinters and hurdlers on the team my freshman year.  I did the 400-meter dash with 53.84 seconds and the 300-meter hurdles with 42.73 seconds.

This year I practiced even harder to gain speed and beat my personal record. I did in all my events. I tried high jump and did well. For the 400-meter dash, I ran 52.89 seconds. The 300-meter hurdles, I ran 40.68 seconds. High jump, I jumped 5 feet and 6 inches. And the 4x400 relay with the time of 3:35.1 minutes. I qualified in CIF-SS D2 Prelims for the 300-meter hurdles, but my journey ended there. But I'm still proud of myself doing my best this year and that hopefully go further into CIF.
