Lucas Bossinger '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Lucas Bossinger and I am a XC/Distance runner for Palmer Ridge High School in Colorado Springs/Monument, CO. I’ve grown up playing many sports, but I began to focus on running in the sixth grade, as I experienced success early and I really enjoyed the positive environment with both team members and competitors.

My strong work ethic and consistent training has allowed me to continually improve and compete at a high level with the top competition in Colorado.  Success in Cross Country and Track is rewarded through hard work and commitment, which is what I strive for, as well as seeing my teammates and friends rewarded for our commitment and sacrifice.

Academics has always been a high priority for me. I have consistently achieved high grades and currently maintain a 3.95 GPA. I’m excited to take the next step in my academic life.  With my proven record with both athletics and academics, I’m confident that I would be a valuable asset to your university and team.
