Personal Statement
I love track. When I first joined in 10th grade I was not too good. My PR was a 60 second 400 and I hit a brick wall my 11th grade indoor season at 60 and some people even told me I should quit because I don’t have the “natural talent” of other runners. However I refused to let this defeat me. I turned 60 into 55 in my outdoor season by working and everyone who told me to quit is a fan now. I never settle, I’m never satisfied, my goal is the Olympics and I’d be honored to reach that goal with your college.
