As a dedicated two-sport athlete, competing in basketball and track, I have developed a deep passion for running and hurdling since my introduction to the sport in the 8th grade. My track journey has been marked by consistent growth and success, and I am eager to take my skills to the next level as a college athlete.
One of the proudest moments of my freshman year was qualifying for the state championships in not one but two events: the 300m hurdles and the 110m hurdles. These accomplishments were a testament to the hard work and determination I put into my training. It was enriching to see my efforts pay off and to represent my school on the state stage.
Furthermore, I joined our school's record-breaking 4x200 and 4x400 relay teams during my freshman year. Being part of these relay teams taught me the importance of teamwork and collaboration and exposed me to the exhilarating experience of competing as a unified force.
I am eager to be part of a collegiate track and field program that values teamwork, camaraderie, and the pursuit of excellence.
