Gavin Ollis '24 Recruiting Profile

I have always wanted to run on the collegiate level, to experience the team, coaching, and competition differences. I live where running is unpopular, and no distance coaches are around me. I am cheerful, hardworking, and supportive. I believe what makes me different from other recruits is I have never truly had a run coach throughout my high school career, training myself. So, I think with proper coaching and focus on strength, increase in mileage, and recovery, I can reach incredible goals. I believe I am nowhere near my potential and can’t wait to show my potential my senior year and years forward. I am part of the GHSA Athletic Council representing class 4a, I have maintained a 4.0 GPA in dual enrollment and AP classes, and I’m part of multiple other clubs and programs on top of my running.
