My motto is work hard because nothing is given, it is earned—a motto that I take to heart, being the son of first-generation immigrants. Participating in extracurricular activities like soccer has been a tremendous sacrifice for my family. I have seen my parents juggle work responsibilities and participate in community fundraisers just so that I could have the opportunity to play a game that I love so much. And I have not taken their sacrifices for granted. Since I was six, I have played like my life (and my family’s) has depended on it. In a way, it very much has. My goal since I started playing was to propel myself and my family with soccer. I hope to become the first one in my family to attend college and to continue having the privilege to pursue a better future by playing a game that has already given me and my family so much pride and hope.
Briefly, I have played many important roles as a soccer player in not only two state championships and regional tournaments, but also at the national level (US National League). I have also been to four US National training centers . Most recently, I am a two-time Georgia Soccer State Champ, GHSA Soccer State Champion, two-time US Youth Soccer Southern Regionals Semi-finalist, National League Piedmont Conference Champion , and Disney College Showcase Champion . I am a hard worker, a loyal team player, always persevering regardless of the challenges. I am excited for what the future holds and most importantly, will never forget where I come from.
