Hello,
My name is Dakota S. Gregory I am 17 years old and a senior in coulterville high school with high hope of going to college for Cross Country. The reason I am looking at Cross Country is because my school does not have a high school track team so i have not been on a track since Jr High. I am a very driven person and expect great things of myself. I have a 3.5-4.0 GPA which allows to me be a member of BETA. I also work very hard and train even harder on Cross Country. During the school years I have been the Top Varsity of my Cross Country team as well as the MVP for the 2014-2015, 2015-2016 and the 2016-2017 school year. I also received a trophy for most dedicated player. I am a member of the running club which allows me to run during my off season which I ran 359 during the course of a summer. I PR almost every time I run. As of today my Fastest time is 17:30 for a 5K which led to me going to sectionals. This year I am determined to make it to the state level. Not only do I work and push my self hard for Cross Country but in my studies as well. My education is very important part of my life and I know with hard work and education I will achieve the level of success I am striving for. To date my fastest time now is 17:25 which I got running in the Peoria meet.
