Jacob Mills '18 Recruiting Profile

I am Jacob Mills. I am going into my Jr. Year in high school and I have made some ground when it comes to throwing discus and shot put. 

I always strive to be the best that I can be. I have trained since 3rd grade to be a thrower. I always new that I could become the best thrower, but I knew it would take some work. I trained for years and I made it to state my 7th grade year. I didn't do so well but in my 8th grade year, I won. It was such a great experience, but I've been learning more with the heavier discus than I ever did with the 1k. I have finally been able to work my way up to were I was with the lighter disc, 125 feet, and shot put is the same way, 35 feet. I am still training though and my goals are to improve discus by 15 feet and shot put by 5.

I also am highly dedicated in school, 4-H and in church. I continue to enjoy new and exciting things, as well as making my own best better.
