From a young age I’ve been taught that if I want to become better at something, I have to put in the work, and that all work is hard. I put this lesson in action during 7th grade, which is when I started doing Track and Field. I started putting in the work and eventually got better, but being good at the sport didn’t feel like enough. Since then I’ve pushed myself to be the best that I could possible be, whether it be athletics or academics. Since then I’ve seen even bigger improvements on the track and in the classroom. I believe that I am a good candidate for your team because I’m willing to do what I need to do to make myself and my teammates the best we could possibly be, and I’m a goal oriented person. I have certain goals that I want to accomplish to have a brighter future and I work towards meeting those goals. Academically, my goal is to major in Pre-med, and athletically, my goal is to do track in college and be the best athlete I could possible be.
