My name is Kwabena Osei-Yeboah and I'm a 2025 grad and I currently have a 4.0 GPA. I have been running track since I was 8 years old and ever since then, I have had aspirations to compete at the collegiate level. I know how hard it is to compete at the collegiate level, but I am up for the task.
This year, I have flew out to a massive personal best and school record of 23 feet 6 inches in the Long Jump. I have strong leadership skills as many people on the team look up to me especially in the jumping aspect and I try to continue to lead by example. I am very coachable and a fast learner and push towards being one of the best jumpers in high school and college, and one of the best recruits you will find.
I work all year on speed, strength and technique being on an AAU team in the summer, participating in 2 years of High School Football, and lifting in the weight room to keep adding on to my athleticism.
In the classroom, I work very hard and keep a consistent high GPA. I have been an honor roll student in every semester and teachers love my drive to stay focus and help other students around me. I also volunteer at the Chicago Bank of America Marathon, Feed My Starving Children, cleaning services, etc. and am always willing to do those types of tasks.
I want to attend a college where I can push myself both in the classroom and on the track. I want to major in Exercise Physiology or Pre-Physical Therapy and my current and future course load in high school has helped me to prepare for the challenge of balancing academics and athletics for the upcoming.
